Natcher Elementary
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. Dues were taken. Minutes were approved as read.
Reports
1. Band – Troy Stovall
· Third round all-state auditions will no longer be done.
· All-State Jazz, Orchestra, and Band students will now all receive the same awards.
· Eligibility issues for All-State have been addressed.
· State band fees have been restructured.
· Program of excellence has been tabled.
2. Choral – Debbie Belcher
· All-State Oct. 18, 5:30 BGHS
· Adjudication April 17
3. General Music K-5 – John Hall
· No report
4. General Music 6-12 – Rob Paugh
· ACDA Southern Division will be in Louisville March 5-8; deadline Oct.1
5. Middle Instrumental – Monica Crowder
· Excited about Teresa Elliot conducting this year at all-district
· Thanks again to those that helped this past year.
6. Orchestra –
· Bowling Green now has a full time string faculty
7. College/University –
· Several new faculty at WKU this year.
