Ø Last year’s commissioned piece is now available on Pepper’s.

6. Orchestra – Angela Rex
Ø Bowling Green High has a new orchestra program. They meet after school five day a week. They increased from 30 members to over 120.

Ø Festival Dates: Instrumental Solo and Ensemble March 23; Vocal solo and Ensemble March 3; Band April 19 – 21; Chorus April 17.
Ø Pilot Program – High School State Solo and Ensemble – Same week as State Festival, must have accompaniment, choose music from list.
9. TDMEA President – Brent Burris
Ø Job openings out numbered those available this year. Need to work on mentoring and retaining young teachers.
Ø KMEA State office elections will be at convention.
